PHEASANT AND CHUKAR HUNTS

Pheasant Club

All of our Pheasant and Chukar hunts take place in mixed riparian habitat. Our main Pheasant Club located in Lincoln, California (Google Map Link)  where you will find Coon Creek running the length of the property which adds an element of challenge putting the odds in the bird's favor.  

Opening Day (2023 Opening Day - October 25th) 

Dove season open on September 1st followed by  Pheasant and Chukar season in early October. We may have some early dog conditioning in September and October with Chukar. Sign up for our newsletter for updates.

Days of Operation

The Hunting Club is open Wednesday through Sunday. Weekday hunts start at 9 am and Weekends start at 8 am. 

 

We are closed Monday and Tuesdays.

Pheasant Hunting California

Reservations

Reservations are required for all pheasant and chukar hunts. Hunting is by reserved fields.

Free Roam hunting is reserved for pheasant card holding members only.

 

We do not charge a membership fee or initiation fee. Give us a call if you want a same day reservation. 

Hunt Choices

Booking a Hunt with Garcia's: You have two options:

  • Buying a bird card for the entire season (pheasant, chukar or both)

  • Book for a Day Hunt (pheasant, chukar or both)

 

There are two types of pheasant bird cards to choose from: Punch on Release or Punch of Return. Click the links for info and pricing.

Application and Club Guidelines

Hunting Dogs

Hunting Dogs are required. If you do not have a dog, for a fee starting at $50.00 per hour, we can provide you with a dog with its handler.

New Hunting Dog or Puppy in Training

We can assist. Just let us know before your hunt and we can mark the birds for you. We want your dog to be successful and the best way to get as many birds as you can under their nose. For more tips on training a new hunt partner, do not hesitate to call us. 

Bird Cleaning

Bird cleaning is available each shoot day, you can simply leave the birds with us and pick them up cleaned and ready to go on your next outing or schedule a pick up day. Same day cleaning is limited, please ask for your hunt day.

What to Bring

Please make sure to remember to bring:

  • All persons within the field hunting or not, must have an article of orange above the waist. We do sell orange hats each hunt day ($20).

  • Upland Game Bird Vest

  • Non-Lead Ammo (No Magnums)
